Pre-Owned Bentley Flying Spur near Norwalk, CT
The Bentley Flying Spur occupies a specific position in the luxury sedan market. It is not trying to compete with the BMW 7 Series or the Mercedes S-Class on technology or efficiency. It is competing on a different axis entirely: the depth of its materials, the completeness of its handcrafted interior, and the breadth of its performance across what Bentley calls the Grand Touring brief. For Norwalk-area buyers who have decided the Flying Spur is the car, the search narrows to which variant, which generation, and which source to trust.
Bentley Greenwich at 275 West Putnam Ave carries one of the most consistently stocked pre-owned Flying Spur selections in Connecticut, with examples currently spanning the W12, V8, V8 S, and Speed variants across multiple model years. Each vehicle has been rigorously inspected by their team of expert technicians and arrives with a clean vehicle history. Norwalk is approximately 12 miles east of the dealership along the I-95 corridor, a practical distance for a viewing appointment on a weekday or Saturday.
The Flying Spur Variants: What Separates W12, V8 S, and Speed
The Flying Spur lineup has never been a single specification. Understanding the powertrain and trim hierarchy before walking into inventory turns a browsing visit into a decisive one.
Flying Spur W12
The W12 is the engine that built the Flying Spur reputation. A 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged W12 delivers a combination of effortless torque delivery and a soundtrack that the smaller V8 does not replicate. Earlier W12 examples from 2014 to 2016 represent strong value in the current pre-owned market. Bentley Greenwich currently has a pre-owned 2015 Flying Spur W12 (Stock B1202A) finished with the Mulliner Driving Specification and 21-inch painted wheels, which includes diamond quilting to seats and doors, drilled alloy sports foot pedals, jewel fuel and oil filler caps, embroidered Bentley emblems, and dark stained burr walnut veneer. A 2016 Flying Spur W12 (Stock B1165A) is also available, similarly specified with the Mulliner Driving Specification on polished 21-inch wheels and veneered picnic tables with vanity mirrors for rear passengers.
Flying Spur V8 S
The V8 S substitutes a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 for the W12. The trade-off on paper is displacement and a degree of the W12 torque character. The practical result is a car that is lighter in the nose, sharper through corners, and no less grand on a long run to the Berkshires. Bentley Greenwich currently has two pre-owned V8 S examples: a 2017 Flying Spur V8 S (Stock B1232) with the Naim for Bentley Premium Audio System featuring 11 custom-built BMR speakers and Dirac Dimensions digital processing, Mulliner Driving Specification with black machined wheels, and veneered picnic tables, and a second 2017 Flying Spur V8 S (Stock 8601) finished in white with red Mulliner specification. Both examples represent the V8 S at a mature, well-sorted stage of the powertrain development.
Flying Spur Speed
The Speed designation in the Flying Spur range indicates the performance-optimized version. It uses the W12 engine in an uprated state of tune producing increased power output over the standard W12, paired with sport-tuned suspension calibration and additional exterior differentiation. Bentley Greenwich has a pre-owned 2025 Bentley Flying Spur Speed (Stock B2077) in current inventory, which is the most current iteration of the Flying Spur formula. It comes equipped with a 12.3-inch infotainment display, wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto, voice-operated electronic messaging assistance, and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.
What Mulliner Driving Specification Actually Adds
Multiple Flying Spur examples at Bentley Greenwich are equipped with the Mulliner Driving Specification, and it is worth understanding what that means in concrete terms rather than treating it as a trim badge.
The Mulliner Driving Specification includes: 21-inch alloy wheels in a style specific to each variant, drilled alloy sports foot pedals, diamond quilting on seats and door panels, embroidered Bentley emblems on headrests, indented hide on the headlining, a knurled sports gear lever, and jewel fuel and oil filler caps. On W12 examples, it also adds a bright chromed lower bumper matrix grille. In aggregate, it represents a meaningful step up in interior material presentation and visual coherence beyond the base specification.
The Naim for Bentley audio system that accompanies some V8 S examples is a separate specification worth noting. Naim designed the system specifically for the Flying Spur acoustic environment using 11 custom-built BMR speakers and Dirac Dimensions digital processing. It is categorically different from the standard audio system in terms of reproduction quality.
Financing and Leasing a Pre-Owned Flying Spur

If a person writes a check without sufficient funds in an associated account to cover it, the check will bounce, or be returned for insufficient funds. Each state has laws regulating how merchants may respond to bounced checks. In Connecticut, the merchant may file a civil suit and press criminal charges if the check writer does not reimburse him for a bounced check after the merchant has sent several notices regarding the matter.
Posted Notice Requirement
Merchants and other business owners who accept checks must post a notice where customers are likely to see it warning them of the potential consequences of writing bad checks. The notice must include the civil penalties that bad check writers may face, the appropriate Connecticut statute number and an advisory that the check writer may also face criminal penalties
Civil and Criminal Penalties
As of 2010, civil courts may require the check writer to reimburse the merchant for the value of the check plus pay up to $750 if he has no back account or $400 if the check is returned for insufficient funds. If the merchant chooses to press criminal charges, the bad check writer may face a fine of up to $1,000 and up to one year in jail. Writing a bad check is a felony charge if the check was for more than $1,000 and a misdemeanor if written for a lesser amount.
Required Written Notices
If a check bounces, the merchant must send the check writer a letter by certified mail at the check writer's last known address or place of business. Usually this letter is sent to the address on the writer's check. The letter must inform the writer that the check was returned ask him to reimburse the merchant for the amount of the check and inform him of the potential criminal or civil penalties if he fails to do so. If the check writers does not respond to the letter within 15 days of receipt, the merchant must send a second letter. This letter must inform the check writer that he has 30 days to reimburse the merchant before the merchant takes legal action against him. Both letters must be written in both English and Spanish.
