NEW CONTINENTAL GT

There’s nothing quite like fresh air for boosting your sense of calm. Except, that is, for the Continental GTC Azure. Designed to combine open-top grand touring with technology and craftsmanship designed for maximum comfort, it represents an extraordinary leap forward in convertible luxury.

The aesthetics of convertible luxury

Whether you have the roof open or closed, the Continental GTC Azure will draw envious glances wherever you drive it. A new chrome, vertical-vaned grille features more generously spaced vanes than previous models, for a more contemporary appearance. With Harmony Crystal headlamps, plus a black front splitter and chrome matrix lower grilles, this is a car that exudes refinement, before you even switch it on. Its exclusive 22” Azure wheels are available in a choice of two finishes – one silver-painted and bright machined, the other black-painted. At the rear, meanwhile, deep red rear lamps deliver a stunning new welcome animation sequence, when you unlock the car.

Go bespoke

As with every Bentley, you have the option to engage with Mulliner’s personal commissioning team, either to add established Mulliner features and finishes from the Personal Commissioning Guide, or to work with the team directly in the creation of something truly bespoke. With Mulliner, the only limit is your imagination.

Configured for refined power

The Continental GTC Azure features the High Performance Hybrid powertrain, which deploys an electric motor and turbocharged 4.0 litre V8 engine in tandem, to deliver 671 bhp (680 PS) and 930 Nm (686 lb ft) of torque. That translates into acceleration from 0-60 mph in just 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 168 mph.

Bentley Dynamic Ride, an innovative 48-volt active roll control system, continuously adjusts the anti-roll bars to reduce body movement, while the new twin-valve dampers and all-wheel steering system are calibrated for optimal comfort and refinement – until you put the car into Sport mode, that is, when driver engagement becomes the focus.

A car only you could commission

There are seven standard paint colours to choose from, however if you venture into the extended range and beyond, with Mulliner’s collection of premium finishes, your choice still grows to more than 80 colours.
To complement your selection of exterior finish, you can choose from five solid colours for the car’s fabric roof – black, blue, grey, brown and claret – as well as a head-turning metallic silver option and a sophisticated tweed.

In addition to the stunning 22” Azure wheels fitted as standard, there is a wide range of optional wheels to choose from, many of which can be combined with Self-Levelling Wheel Badges by Mulliner. For the cabin, you can choose from 15 upholstery colours, while the veneered surfaces can be clad with your choice from an extensive range of finishes. They include high-gloss wood, open-pore wood and ‘piano’ painted veneers, as well as more contemporary technical finishes from a range that includes Engine Turned Aluminium, Carbon Fibre and Côtes de Genève.

If a person writes a check without sufficient funds in an associated account to cover it, the check will bounce, or be returned for insufficient funds. Each state has laws regulating how merchants may respond to bounced checks. In Connecticut, the merchant may file a civil suit and press criminal charges if the check writer does not reimburse him for a bounced check after the merchant has sent several notices regarding the matter.

Posted Notice Requirement

Merchants and other business owners who accept checks must post a notice where customers are likely to see it warning them of the potential consequences of writing bad checks. The notice must include the civil penalties that bad check writers may face, the appropriate Connecticut statute number and an advisory that the check writer may also face criminal penalties

Civil and Criminal Penalties

As of 2010, civil courts may require the check writer to reimburse the merchant for the value of the check plus pay up to $750 if he has no back account or $400 if the check is returned for insufficient funds. If the merchant chooses to press criminal charges, the bad check writer may face a fine of up to $1,000 and up to one year in jail. Writing a bad check is a felony charge if the check was for more than $1,000 and a misdemeanor if written for a lesser amount.

Required Written Notices

If a check bounces, the merchant must send the check writer a letter by certified mail at the check writer's last known address or place of business. Usually this letter is sent to the address on the writer's check. The letter must inform the writer that the check was returned ask him to reimburse the merchant for the amount of the check and inform him of the potential criminal or civil penalties if he fails to do so. If the check writers does not respond to the letter within 15 days of receipt, the merchant must send a second letter. This letter must inform the check writer that he has 30 days to reimburse the merchant before the merchant takes legal action against him. Both letters must be written in both English and Spanish.
