Maintenance Services Offered

Spring is a crucial time for vehicle maintenance, ensuring your Bentley remains in pristine condition for the warmer months ahead. At Bentley Greenwich, we recommend the following specific maintenance services:

Oil Changes

Regular oil changes are vital for maintaining engine health. Spring service should include changing the oil and replacing the filter to ensure your engine runs smoothly, providing maximum efficiency and longevity. We recommend using the manufacturer-recommended oil and filter for your Bentley model to ensure optimal performance. Our technicians are trained in all Bentley models and will use only genuine parts during your service appointment.

Brake Inspections

After months of navigating icy roads, a thorough brake inspection is necessary to identify wear and tear. Our technicians will examine brake pads, rotors, and fluid levels to ensure your braking system operates at its best. If any issues are found, we will promptly repair or replace the necessary components with genuine Bentley parts for a safe and reliable driving experience.

Battery Performance Check

Cold weather can significantly impact battery life. A spring check-up includes testing the battery’s charge and ensuring all connections are secure and corrosion-free. We also offer battery replacement services if needed. Rest assured that your Bentley will start up smoothly every time with our thorough battery inspections.

Fluid Levels Check

Maintaining proper fluid levels is essential for a well-functioning vehicle. Our team will check and top off all necessary fluids, including motor oil, brake fluid, transmission fluid, and coolant. This will help prevent any potential damage to your engine or other components and ensure optimal performance on the road.

Coolant System Flush

As temperatures rise, an efficiently working cooling system is essential to prevent overheating. A coolant flush removes old antifreeze and any contaminants from your cooling system, followed by replenishment with fresh coolant. This process helps ensure your engine stays cool and prevents any potential damage.

Air Conditioning System Check

Before the onset of summer heat, verifying that your air conditioning system functions correctly will ensure you stay comfortable during warmer days. An air conditioning system check involves inspecting the system for any leaks, checking the refrigerant levels, and making sure all components are working correctly. This service can help you avoid any unpleasant surprise AC breakdowns during the summer.

Tire Rotation

Uneven wear on tires is a common occurrence due to various factors like frequent driving, road conditions, and vehicle weight distribution. By rotating your tires regularly, you can extend their lifespan and improve overall vehicle performance. During a tire rotation, the front and rear tires are switched to ensure even wear over time. This service is especially important for all-wheel-drive vehicles.

Transmission Replacements

The transmission is an essential component of any vehicle, responsible for transferring power from the engine to the wheels. Over time, it may start to show signs of wear and tear, leading to rough shifting or complete failure. A transmission replacement involves removing the old unit and installing a new one to keep your car running smoothly. It is crucial to have this service done by a trained technician with experience in handling transmissions.

Spark Plugs

Spark plugs are a small but vital part of your vehicle’s ignition system. They create the spark necessary to ignite the fuel and air mixture in the engine, allowing your car to start and run smoothly. Over time, spark plugs can become worn or dirty, leading to decreased fuel efficiency and potential engine misfires. It is recommended to have your spark plugs checked and replaced every 30,000 miles to maintain optimal performance.

Customization Options

There are customization services available for those looking to add a personal touch to their car. This can include options like custom paint jobs, decals, and accessories such as rims or spoilers. These services allow owners to express their personality and make their vehicles stand out on the road.

If a person writes a check without sufficient funds in an associated account to cover it, the check will bounce, or be returned for insufficient funds. Each state has laws regulating how merchants may respond to bounced checks. In Connecticut, the merchant may file a civil suit and press criminal charges if the check writer does not reimburse him for a bounced check after the merchant has sent several notices regarding the matter.

Posted Notice Requirement

Merchants and other business owners who accept checks must post a notice where customers are likely to see it warning them of the potential consequences of writing bad checks. The notice must include the civil penalties that bad check writers may face, the appropriate Connecticut statute number and an advisory that the check writer may also face criminal penalties

Civil and Criminal Penalties

As of 2010, civil courts may require the check writer to reimburse the merchant for the value of the check plus pay up to $750 if he has no back account or $400 if the check is returned for insufficient funds. If the merchant chooses to press criminal charges, the bad check writer may face a fine of up to $1,000 and up to one year in jail. Writing a bad check is a felony charge if the check was for more than $1,000 and a misdemeanor if written for a lesser amount.

Required Written Notices

If a check bounces, the merchant must send the check writer a letter by certified mail at the check writer's last known address or place of business. Usually this letter is sent to the address on the writer's check. The letter must inform the writer that the check was returned ask him to reimburse the merchant for the amount of the check and inform him of the potential criminal or civil penalties if he fails to do so. If the check writers does not respond to the letter within 15 days of receipt, the merchant must send a second letter. This letter must inform the check writer that he has 30 days to reimburse the merchant before the merchant takes legal action against him. Both letters must be written in both English and Spanish.
